Polysulphide
Coatings & Sealants
Polysulphides,
synthesized in the United States by Joseph Patrick in 1926 and
commercialised after 1930 as oil-resistant Thiokol rubbers are used in
a variety of industries and for many purposes. In the construction
industry, polysulphide is used as a joint sealant and, as an
elastomer, in constructing waterproof, chemically resistant, linings
for tanks, pipelines, etc.
Chemipat can supply polysulphide coatings to
suit a variety of purposes. Sealants can be formulated to a customer's
formulation.
